Congratulations to the Mark Buehrle of The Chicago White Sox for pitching the first no hitter of the baseball season as well as the first in White Sox history since 16 years ago. I’m a Tiger fan myself, but even I have to tip my hat to an amazing feat like that. If […]
There are senior citizens who choose to live out their lives in mediocrity, there are those who slow things down a bit, and then there are those who choose… to go golfing!
Here’s an inspiring story coming out of the AP, in which a 102-year-old Californian woman successfully hit a hole in one on a regulation […]
Continuing along with our sports theme for today, because I know all of my colleagues will just harass me if we don’t say anything about the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship. The final two teams are — drum roll — Ohio State and Florida. If you think you’re having a case of deja vu, […]
The past days and in the days to come, baseball fans will be glued to the television, flocking sports bars, and going to the ballpark. Because it’s opening day for many baseball teams around the country in The United States.
And here, in Michigan, a state in the Midwest, baseball is seeing a renaissance of […]

A very crude, yet very inspirational speech by Al Pacino. One of my favorite actors. He’s a terrific actor, talented, and you just get glued to the screen whenever he’s on…
Enjoy this scene, because this is why people play sports. This is why we watch sports. This is why we are […]

Jeremy Wariner won the gold medal in 400 meters in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, that was part of an American clean sweep. The USA also won the gold medal in the 4×400m with Jeremy Wariner running the third leg. You will know Jeremy if you see some guy running with sunglasses, even on […]
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up regarding Everson Walls and Ron Springs. I wrote about this yesterday, about this inspirational friendship. We now have to wait whether or not Ron’s body will accept the kidney, and if everything goes as planned, Ron will not need another dialysis in his life.

I think it goes without saying that everyone has a best friend, and that they would probably do almost anything for that friend. Well, ask yourself this question. Would you be willing to donate a kidney? It’s a tough decision, but let’s meet an individual who did just this.
Meet Everson Walls and […]

I was so wrapped up in the Superbowl two weeks ago, that I actually forgot to check what happened to the Super Proposal that we wrote about a few weeks back. Boy was I surprised that our good friend finally popped the question.
Watch the videos below, it’s funny, romantic, a tearjerker, all in one […]
On Friday, we were contacted by Bill Rollins. What seemed like a normal email, came through vividly into our hearts. This is always our goal, to inspire others by inspiring you. And Bill, is indeed inspiring us in this same way.
He will be joining an Ironman race on August 26 in Louisville […]
As everyone knows by now, this blog is focused purely on the theory of Six Degrees of Separation (or Connection) and the mentality of paying it forward. As you also know, the Superbowl is also known for its many wonderful commercials that debut on that day. And this year, there was one commercial […]
If you had 15 seconds to say something on video, what would it be? This is the exact question that CBS is inviting everyone to answer. It is inviting anyone to submit a 15 second video, and the winner will have their video aired during the SUPERBOWL. For the life of me, […]
Even if you’re not an NFL (National Football League) fan, there has been an inspirational story in sports this year, and it seems that America’s new home team is The New Orleans Saints. After the ravages of Hurricane Katrina, the city still in the process of rebuilding, sports fans are seeing nothing short of […]
I was just watching some “Good Morning America”, and they were interviewing a guy that wanted to propose to his girlfriend during the Superbowl, unfortunately by November of last year, he was only able to raise around $75K by that time, and soon realized that he wasn’t going to meet his goal. However, […]
