We are still in a state of mourning, maybe no longer shock. Because we now fully realize the depths of this tragedy, and we are beginning to see the individual victims for their individuality not just the whole of this tragedy.
The sea of mourners cross this great nation, from the islands of Hawaii and all the way to the tips of Maine itself. The union is at a standstill, grasping at and holding on to the memories of the good souls that has left us.

Yesterday, the Virginia Tech community held a convocation, and in that event we saw the multitudes in mourning. Our leaders at a loss for words as well, as they look towards healing, seeking a brighter tomorrow — nothing more, nothing less.
Believe me, when I say that this sadness seems to heavy to bear, but also believe that the morning will come after this dark night.
