When you are the press secretary for an embattled president, it’s not fun, at least it shouldn’t be. But for Tony Snow its the most enjoyable job he’s had. Tony Snow is the current White House Press Secretary, and his passion for his job is obvious.

Just last month, he received news that his colon cancer had returned and had spread to his liver. At this point, he gave new meaning to courage and inspiration.

He’s been an inspiration to all those who live with cancer. He tells others who live with cancer to not think of dying but to focus on living. He returned to his post just recently on April 30th, despite rounds of chemotherapy and treatment.

In the end, maybe Tony Snow’s footprint on history will not be on his job at The White House, but maybe his more important role as an ambassador for cancer patients worldwide. And that is as big of a tribute to his courage as it is to his unwavering role as White House Press Secretary.
