Before there were fluorescent light-bulbs and flashlights to light our way, people used lamps and candles. In the past few years, candles have made a comeback, and one man saw the light.
Jimmy Belasco was that man, and in that light, he founded a company devoted to candles. He created Er’go (prounounced Air Go), and success was inevitable.
(CNN) — Jimmy Belasco’s philosophy is simple: “Be happy. Be happy at what you’re doing, and if you’re not happy then go home and get happy.”
The Dallas, Texas, entrepreneur behind Er’go Candles, Belasco has found happiness and commercial success with his candle line — a blend of wax, sweet-smelling fragrance and, he says, a lot of love.
“My goal, my plan, my mission on this Earth,” he says, “is to spread as much love and peace as I can. … I get responses all the time about how the candles changed the mood of somebody or about how they nurtured someone thru the death of a loved one”
Here’s a snippet of how Er’go came about:
er’go, pronounced ‘air-go’ was founded in 1999 with the idea of introducing a new candle concept to the world the marriage of Premium Fragrance together with natural SOY wax; thus, establishing er’go as “The Original Premium Fragrance Soy Candle”. Little did we know at the time, that the soy phenomenon was about to change the candle industry forever. Soy waxes are now becoming common in the marketplace, with er’go strongly established as a pioneer in this new industry.
We HAND POUR our candles in our own facility in Dallas Texas, where we implement a standard of quality & maintain an energy of Love & Peace.
