Well, it’s another Monday morning, I thought I’d start out the day with a nice little greeting to all the readers. Of course, if you’re on the other side of the world, then your Monday is already being wrapped up, so to the readers in the East, I hope you had a wonderful and blessed Monday.
I’m often asked, what I do on Monday mornings, so I thought I would like to repeat it here.
Basically, my week has already been planned out the day before. I like to plan the week ahead during Sundays so that I am focused as well as kept on track as to how I’m doing during the week. If you live your life haphazardly then you will soon realize that you are not living up to your full potential, and having a good weekly plan is part of being successful.
So, I review my goals for the day, the to-do lists, as well as listen to some classical music to get me centered and inspired for the blessed day that I know I’m going to have. I don’t watch television nor do I read the newspaper. There’s a lot of negativity that is floating around on Monday morning news, so I try to veer away from that. I do read the Bible for inspiring scriptures, and I read my emails from family, all the while drinking some nice and wonderful Kaona style of coffee (thanks to my wonderful Hawaiian friend).
I couple the morning with a good workout, a nourishing breakfast, and a nice lukewarm shower.
And that’s about it. A bit boring really, but in its simplicity, I think it works. A good routine, a wonderful routine, and an inspiration-centered routine will always have you started out right for the week ahead.
