I’m Still thinking of what not to do for today. I think I have my plate a bit full, but still I’m happy that my day is filled with activities that I enjoy.

Even with the busy day, I’ll be at the gym again for at least an hour, the oh so wonderful gym with walls of mirrors to see all the wonderful angles of your body that God has given you. I think it was a design decision to make the gym look bigger than it actually is. I think the other reason is that people actually like to watch themselves exercise and see their muscles increasing with every repetition.

No matter the reason, I’ll be spending 1 hour in that gym, and dedicating 3/4 of that time on the elliptical machine. This is one machine that I’m just in love with. I’m probably the only guy that uses it as much as the women. The other guys go for the treadmill more often than the elliptical. My doctor has told me repeatedly that the elliptical is so much better for me as well as for my knees… so I stick to that machine.

Anyway, I think I’m rambling on here. What I wanted to convey this morning, is that no matter how busy your day is. You should always make time for exercise. Whether it be walking, a bike ride, swimming, or even some in place squats… just get yourself moving. I’ve always felt more alive, more responsive, and a better thinker when I’m in good shape.

There is a connection between your mind and your body. And if you want to keep fit mentally, then you better keep fit physically.
