This is for all the single individuals out there, I would like to ask you the following question: When was the last time you were in love?

Do you miss that feeling? Or are you quite comfortable with your situation?

Since high school, there have been times that I have found myself without a companion, riding the wave of bachelor freedom, but I have found that after a while, I become tired of being — lonely.

Is it in our nature to be social beings, or are we made to be solitary beings, what is it in us that makes us crave for another soul to experience the human experience?

So many questions, yet I myself have to succumb to the fact that nothing in this world is for certain, not even relationships. Nothing in this world is certain, not even the thought of a soul mate. This is not a judgment on love, but this is a cry out to those who think that being in a relationship is easy.

Because, God knows that finding that certain individual is hard enough, but when you finally find that one person, you must, above all, cherish that relationship.

Cherish it, and work on it, live with understanding, and feel with passion. Because that person next to you, will be your companion for life, and a wonderful life it will be — if you love, respect, and cherish your relationship.

In the end, I have to admit, being single isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
