Before I Let You Go by Freestyle

The following video and song “Before I Let You Go” by the band Freestyle goes out to all the Filipino readers out there in this vast internet world we pseudo-live in. Filipinos are some of the most talented singers in the world, and this song is just one of the infinite reasons why I always come back to OPM (Original Pilipino Music).

Although their talents may not be known worldwide, their voice and level of talent is definitely some of the best in the world. Again, I really hope everyone enjoys this song, it’s one of my favorites, and I know that once you listen to it, you’ll love it too. So, tell your friends and family, and maybe that special someone about this song.

Nicholas, I love it! The song is so beautiful and the artists are so talented. Thank you so much for sharing. By the way, are you Filipino? It seems that you covered the Philippine Holy week and now you’re also covering a Filipino band. I’ve been a long time reader but I assumed that you were just another american guy. lol. Anyway, I hope you can tell us more about yourself

Thanks, that was awesome song. I just wonder why their talents aren’t wordwide known. Maybe something wrong with marketing or it is just hard to get huge success from Filipino

Joanne, Yes I am Filipino. I noticed a few weeks back that I actually never said that anywhere else within this blog. Thank you for reminding me. Again, I always appreciate your readership.

Happymoney, It’s hard to breakthrough into the U.S. market no matter who you are. You need the right combination of producers, managers, production company, timing, and whole lot of luck and hard work. But, as with any other passionate artist out there, Freestyle has always remained focused with their music, and that’s all we can really ask of anyone…

hey, I love freestyle too. well actually, just one of their songs. my dad got me to listening to “so slow” a few years back, and now I can’t get it out of my mp3 player. OPM gives me that “back home” feeling, so I love listening to them!

Ah yes, who can ever forget “So Slow”, it’s always been another favorite of mine from Freestyle…

I recently just found out that the band split up, and now they have new band members… What are your thoughts about the split??
