I reach out and you meet me halfway, you search for my index finger and cover it like a blanket on a cold winter’s night
We walk briskly in the darkening day. I look left towards you, and you look away… You start swaying both our arms, in stride as I look at you again… You look my way and gaze at my eyes, for one second… and I look away…
And we repeat… the walk of lovers… the walk of love…
No words… just love… no talk, just walking, side-by-side, knowing… that we are in harmony…
Holding hands, walking with you… a dream come true…

5@Ryan, You are certainly right, it’s probably the most important dream that you can have… and I wish this for everyone.
@ADDIE, you’re welcome, and yes I definitely agree, that it’s sweet, and I guess as we head towards valentines, I’m getting into that romantic mood.
@Daddy, I have to agree that the photo is such a lovely reminder, that you don’t need to wait for Christmas or a Birthday to have a special moment… just a simple walk can be the most romantic moment and the most memorable moment in a relationship…
The photo was sent to me, but these are the words that came to me.. I originally wanted to post just the picture, but I started to type and within seconds, the poem was alive with love…

11@Beckie, thank you for coming by and the kind words…
@Frances, beauty and love, love and beauty, the senses come alive and inspiration comes about… it’s definitely a beautiful union, a sort of metaphor for what we can achieve with understanding, respect, and love for each other.. thank you for your comment!

12Excellent photo. It has a kind of dreamy, lazy, feel to it. The black and white is perfect.

13@Rayne, I thought so too, and in a sense, love does that to us… A simple day, becomes like a dream… almost as if you wouldn’t want to sleep… dream becomes reality… oh the joys of love.. =)
