I’m a bit light on my feet today because later tonight, the seasons will change and Spring will officially be here. Winter is gone and the warmer weather is just around the corner.
If absence makes the heart grow fonder, then I guess this is why we enjoy the start of a new season. The fact is, that by the end of the summer, we will have been so fed up that we will welcome the change that Fall and Winter bring… It’s a cycle really, but nevertheless having without warm weather for a while, is always a cause to yearn for it even more.
And so, gone are the cold days of Winter, and arrive the corridor of Spring.
Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love! — Sitting Bull
If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome — Anne Bradstreet
In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt. — Margaret Atwood
