When I was in college back then, I entered into an organization that had a four week screening of sort if you know what I mean. It wasn’t really bad for the normal neophyte. But what was really interesting was that I entered during the second semester, and to my surprise there were only 3 of us on the first day, and on the second day to my shock it was just me.

To say the least, it was going to be interesting. Well, I made it through the whole four weeks and it was one of the most life-changing experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I gained so much from those four weeks than most of my classes in college. One of the officers gave me a piece of quotation that, to this day, I still have on my refrigerator door. It was instilled in me, and I hope you also take it to heart when faced with a challenge.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost,
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow’s will;
It’s all in the state of mind.

Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can.
