In The Philippines, the death of Jesus Christ on The Cross is remembered on a daily basis, because of an instituted national broadcast of “The 3 O’clock Prayer”. This is usually known as the devotion to the Divine Mercy. The prayer is as follows,
3 O’CLOCK PRAYER
You died Jesus, but the source of life flowed out for souls and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.
O Fountain of Life, immeasurable Divine Mercy, cover the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water which flowed out from the heart of Jesus as a Fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and the whole world.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and the whole world.Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and the whole world.
AMEN.
Jesus, King of Mercy, we trust in You!

According to a friend, the more traditional and accurate prayer is actually the following prayer below, although in The Philippines, the first prayer is often the more common form that is used.
You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelope the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.
And then, three times,”O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus, as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You.”
Now, if you’ve never been to The Philippines, it gets some getting used to because the Filipino people will literally stop during the hours of 12, 3, and 6pm for prayer, even in the grocery store, which in my opinion shows the faith of the entire nation as a whole.
History of The Divine Mercy
The Message of the Divine Mercy that Sr. Faustina received from the Lord was not only directed toward her personal growth in faith but also toward the good of the people. With the command of our Lord to paint an image according to the pattern that Sr. Faustina had seen, came also a request to have this image venerated, first in the Sisters’ chapel, and then throughout the world. The same is true with the revelations of the Chaplet. The Lord requested that this Chaplet be said not only by Sr. Faustina, but by others: “Encourage souls to say the Chaplet that I have given you.”
The same is true of the revelation of the Feast of Mercy. “The Feast of Mercy emerged from my very depths of tenderness. It is my desire that it solemnly be celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the fount of My Mercy.”
These requests of the Lord given to Sr. Faustina between 1931 and 1938 can be considered the beginning of the Divine Mercy Message and Devotion in the new forms.(via)
