Continuing along with our sports theme for today, because I know all of my colleagues will just harass me if we don’t say anything about the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship. The final two teams are — drum roll — Ohio State and Florida. If you think you’re having a case of deja vu, you’re partly right. Because just this January the same two collegiate schools were both in the Championship for College Football.

What are the chances of this happening? I don’t know, I’m not even sure this has happened before. Two schools being in the College Football and Men’s Basketball Championship in the same year. This is proof of just how talented these two sports programs are.

I’ll be rooting for Ohio State, even though, Ohio State and Michigan are mortal enemies, I still think of the big picture, and like it or not, Ohio State is the representative for the Big Ten. All non-sports fans, I apologize for the foreign language that I’m speaking here, you can skip this article altogether.

I tuned in to a local sports radio show, and the city of Detroit is literally in a sports high. We had Wrestlemania the other night and now today with Opening Day of The Tigers as well as the College Championship later tonight, I know sports fans won’t be getting much sleep.
