One of the biggest television events so far this year. American Idol Gives Back is the special that will be airing later tonight. It really is inspiring to see the biggest television show step up to help the rest of the world. This is a two day special that actually started last night, and will continue tonight.

It’s a big event with our fave Ellen co-hosting with Ryan. The focus of this special is those children and young people who live in extreme poverty. This is following the trip to Africa that Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell went on. I think individuals who use their celebrity to highlight these type of problems should be commended. Because awareness is truly the key. This is why I think the American Idol Gives Back project is such an important project owing to the fact of the size of its audience.
