There is a part of every individual who say to themselves, be realistic. I want to pursue this and that, but let’s be realistic first.
But what does it really mean to be realistic? It means that you are shortchanging yourself and settling for something less than what you really want.
This type of realism is not reality, but in all actuality, this is negativity in action. You are predisposing yourself to settle for something less, because you feel that it can’t be achieved.
Don’t be realistic, on the other hand, you should be unrealistic, because dreams aren’t supposed to be cut and dry, but all it has to be is possible. When you start to walk down the path of “let’s be realistic” you give room for negativity to creep into your life, and goals will never be achieved with negativity breathing down your neck.
So today, start thinking of possibilities, without chaining yourself to the rules that others and the rest of the world sets for you. You make your own rules, including when to be realistic and unrealistic…
