I guess it was to be, that humans in all their inequities would finally kill their only home. Or have we not crossed that line yet? Are we to convince ourselves that the planet is alright and that our man-made horrors of pollution have not even done damage to our environment?

It will be Earth Day in a couple of hours, and on this day we are to pay homage to the Earth, to this land — to Mother Nature. We are to ask questions, seek solutions, and look for means of taking care of our only home.

Are we going to proceed with yet another ongoing debate on whether or not Global Warming or the effects of it is happening or can we just say to ourselves, I want to take care of our Earth because it is the right thing to do.

We are the stewards of this Earth. When we look for the morality of all things in our society, sometimes we don’t realize that our responsibilities extend not only in the human realm, but it also extends to our very own environment.
