I saw you in my dreams last night, talking to me as if I was your best friend. You said to me..

I am everywhere, please know.

I was in the beginning when you were first born.

I was at your soccer practice where you scored that goal.

I was in the beach when you thought you were alone.

I was beside you that day of the terrible storm.

You need not worry, need not be frightened, because even now,

in your dream, I am also with you.

You see… I am everywhere, even when you do not know.

I love you to see me, but sometimes your eyes are closed.

And in those windy days, in the wheat fields..

There too, you will find me.

Because I am your God and your guide.

I am your father and your most loyal friend…

You need not hide.

And so I awoke this morning, feeling refreshed, light on my feet, knowing that You are everywhere… and I will always have a friend.
